USA, 1970. Joe is roaming the vast open spaces of the Far West in his camper van. Along the way, he makes a few encounters: a small coyote, to start with, but also people with more or less good intentions — local thugs, FBI agents, a U.S. Marshal, former friends of varying reputability… But who really is good old Joe? Those who cross his path tend to see their life expectancy drop — dangerously.
